How to make patterns in photoshop
Make a pattern from any image on your screen (jpeg or psp)
  • select the image you wantdog.jpg
  • edit - show all menu items
  • define pattern (saves it)

Make a pattern from a shape
  • open a Photoshop document > international sizes > A4
  • unlock the background layer
  • select a shape
  • draw a big shape
  • colour it
  • select and crop
  • edit - show all menu items
  • define pattern (saves it)
  • save as a jpeg

  • make shapes on different layers,
  • use the eye button to view /hide layers
  • define and save each pattern as you go

To use your patterns
  • open a Photoshop document - - international sizes - A4
  • new layer - pattern
  • save as jpeg
